ROOMS

SELVAMAR ROOMS: Charming separate unit rooms with two double beds, private bathroom, hot water, air-conditioning, color cable TV, telephone, mini-fridge and safety box. Surrounded by lush tropical rain forest. Located 5-10 minutes walk or 2 minute internal shuttle bus  from our gold sand beach and the center of the hotel complex. 

LEONAMAR SUITES: These upscale accommodations with completely modern amenities and a spectacular ocean view are located above our white sand beach (Playa Blanca), with a staircase leading down to the beach. They have exclusive access to the Leonamar pool for use only by those guests staying in these suites. The suites are located 20 minutes walk or 5 minute internal shuttle bus ride from the center of the resort complex.

ARENAS APARTMENTS: Two bedrooms (on two floors) with two double beds in each room, living area, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms (one on each floor), hot water, air-conditioning in the bedrooms, color cable TV, and balcony with spectacular ocean view. Located 5 minutes walk or 1 minute internal shuttle ride from Playa Blanca (white sand beach) and 15 minutes walk or 2 minute shuttle ride from the center of the resort complex.

 NATURE AND BEACH AT IT BEST

 Wake up to the sounds to some of the over 330 exotic bird species living in the area. Participate in an early morning nature walk on our private wildlife reserve is rich in plant and animal life. Explore amongst giant tropical trees and hundreds of fascinating plant species. While hiking you may spot such fauna as white faced monkeys, iguanas, short nosed coatis, toucans and brilliant scarlet macaws, announcing their arrival with awesome high pitched calls

 ACTIVITIES ARE ABUNDANT

Take advantage of the activities offered. For example, maintain your fitness through water aerobics and let go of your stress, learning to dance to the Latin rhythms of Salsa and Meringue music. There are also special children's activities.* For the more adventurous, there are water sports, such as boogie boarding through the rolling ocean waves or snorkeling, where you may come face to face with colorful exotic tropical fish. Also you have the opportunity to participate in day trips to nearby sightseeing attractions such as , Carara National Park, Manuel Antonio National Park, Canopy Tour, White Water Rafting.

At Hotel Punta Leona, there is a constantly changing daily activities program. The activities schedule will include some of the following offerings depending upon when you visit. More activities are offered during the high season and on weekends than during weekdays.
